Young Investigator Awards

The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health received sponsorship from the Samueli Foundation which enabled us to offer generous awards for young investigators who presented at our 2018 International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health in Baltimore, MD.

Accepted abstract submissions by a Young Investigator as first author were considered.
Eligibility: For these awards, a Young Investigator is defined as an individual who is currently enrolled as a BA student, Masters, PhD, MD, post-docs and fellows; and must be primarily responsible for the work being done as described in the abstract. All successful applicants must commit to presenting their work at the 2018 Congress.

The purpose of these awards is to encourage and recognize innovative and impactful integrative medicine & health work being conducted by promising young investigators who have a desire to conduct further work in the field of integrative medicine & health.

Ather Ali Scholarship for Naturopathic Physicians


The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health (The Consortium) Ather Ali Scholarship for NDs was established to honor the life, work, memory and spirit of Ather Ali, ND, MPH, MHS. A $2,500 scholarship will be provided to support the travel (hotel, registration, transportation and meals) of one Naturopathic Physician to the Consortium's Congress which takes place every other year. This scholarship is available to any individual that is a Naturopathic Physician; or training to become one.
